This forum has really died out since launch...

Been here since from just before FEB launch; IMO, too many vicious and vindictive fanboys drove out all the good people soon after hardware started shipping. 'nuff said.

This forum does a lot better than most I have been a member of. Every day I have a ton of alerts. I do understand what a user above me said though. Sometimes if you are a part of a forum or group and everyone is always disagreeing with what you say, it makes it not fun. It isn't about sensitivity, but when people directly pick on you or a certain group of people, what fun is that? I have been a part of that before.

I can easily imagine how that picking on people scenario can happen in a forum like this.

What I've noticed here though is that the mods are pretty hot on nipping that stuff in the bud quickly so things never go that far.

Also, when I have seen people's points of view challenged or even attacked they seem to be perfectly happy to give back every bit a good as they get (looking at you duhWhitePanda ;))

I definitely can see it. I wasn't here when it apparently happened, but because I have had it done to me I understand.

I was a part of a sports website one time. We were all fans of the same team. I made a post that people didn't like, would have helped the team but it was a bit out there. Ever since then any post I made was attacked. They remembered my post and eventually drove me away.

It wasn't about being sensitive, but when you have had a hard day at work, boss giving you fits and your exhausted, you don't want to go on a site and get attacked. What fun is that?

I can be radical with my opinions sometimes, but we all can be. Some of us are just afraid to talk about them. I'm not. I don't make posts/threads to shock people or make them hate me, I just try to make thoughtful posts.

Tons of people have disagreed with me on here, over a variety of subjects. Some have agreed, but the ones that disagree at least show me respect by replying and giving their own well thought out post. That is all I ask, is to respect my posts and my time and effort spent on them. And I get that here for the most part.

You and I may completely disagree on one subject, and you are my hero on the next. But even if it happened I will still respect you. I haven't met anyone on here I don't like, even people I have been in disagreements with. That is what is great about this forum and keeps me and others coming back. I would say we are a pretty tight-knit group here, and as long as that continues this forum will grow and succeed.

Instead of random members, there are just a bunch of active people who read/post alot ( I may not look like much, but I read forums like every 10 minutes lol )
