The Division

Hey,

So one of the other games directly in competition with Titanfall, next gen would be Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division.

Are you looking forward to it? Which one is looking more appealing to you right now, Titanfall or The Division?

Yes, yes, yes, yes!

When I first saw that gameplay video, I felt like David after the Dentist, "is this real life?" Sadly, there really isn't too much information available yet but I'm very excited for this game. I've seen the gameplay demo about 20 times (at least) and each time I find it so amazing and you can't go wrong with Tom Clancy.

I think the official release date is next November-ish. Right when we can expect Destiny, Halo & Dragon Age! It's gonna be a very pricey winter...

This game SOUNDS like it is going to be awesome but I don't think it is in direct competition just because they are both shooters. TF and The Division seem to be on opposite ends of the shooter perspective IMO. Also, I wouldn't expect this game to release in 2014.. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.

The Division will most likely be delayed because it's so ambitious. I highly doubt that it will make the winter 2014 timeline as stated by Ubisoft. Massive Entertainment, the studio responsible for The Division, has already spoken briefly about the challenges creating this game. Ubisoft will insure that it will be released when it's ready because they can't afford to have their new IP critically lambasted. I cannot wait for The Division!

Yeah. 2015 is the earliest we'll see The Division, so Titanfall will already have built its fan base by then. The Snowdrop engine looks to be revolutionary, but I don't think we've seen enough of the gameplay yet to know exactly what to expect.

Looking forward to more. Hopefully at E3.

this game looks fine but i honestly dont see myself putting the time into this game to justify a purchase.

This game looks to be awesome but with it more than likely not coming out until 2015,Im not even thinking about it. To many others coming this year Im excited about like Titanfall,Second Son,Watch Dogs,The Order,The Crew,Witcher 3,Shadow of Mordor,Secret Ponchos and Evolve just to name a few.

The Division is one of my most anticipated games right now; it's too bad it was delayed till 2015.

Titanfall (along with some other 2014 releases) should hold me over till then, though.

Yeah I know.... I'm glad though as I'd rather have them release a polished game rather than rush it out.

I agree. There are too many games being rushed these days. Battlefield 4 can prove that, too.

I'm totally fine with waiting for a game that (hopefully) won't have very many problems at launch.

This game looks crazy good. I'm glad they're delaying it...no need to rush it. I think The Division could be a game changer. Kind of procedurally generated, sort of, and kind of not. It looks so, so solid. I think this will be the first real display of next-gen gaming possibilities.

I am almost as excitrd for The Division as I am for Titanfall. They are definitly on different sides of the FPS spectrum though.
