Some epic fails you encountered in your gaming adventure.

Did somebody say EPIC FAILS? Well, that is probably a normal phenomenon to us gamers of all sorts. Doesn't matter what type of game you are playing - may it be 2d, 3d holographic mario or VR RPG sorts of games, we would eventually encounter an epic fail moment wherein it'll just make us scratch our heads, or probably do a facepalm.

One common scenario of an epic fail encounter is these games without auto-save. So you have a very high achievement on a certain mission and suddenly you died and forgot to save so you'll have to start all over again on that chapter. Hmm that doesn't sound too bad eh?

Then how about, games without auto-saves again so you'll have to manually save a game. Some games won't prompt for yes or no clarification after you hit save right? They will just save right away if you click save on the game menu. So how about this, you have progressed so far and achieved so many missions and questlines and after a few hours of playing, you decided to save the game right? Coz that is normal. Then you are on the game menu entering the save game name and stupidly enough, you hit the LOAD button instead of the SAVE button. That is some next level sht right? HAHA

That act of stupidity made me break my mouse before. I forgot the name of the game but it was probably an old 2d game.

Oh yeah, I have some epic fails in my lifetime lol. But my favorite one was in FFXI when I was in an all Japanese group and we were in Crawler's Nest killing crawlers and I accidentally provoked a lizard. And then all the lizards aggroed and we wiped. The party had Japanese text scrolling a 100 mph. I laughed so hard that I almost peed myself lol.

P.S. my dream is to one day learn Japanese and go on a vacation to Japan. But sadly I will never have the money to do either.

I remembered playing L4D2 with my university friends. Some of them rarely play games and were pretty bad with sense of direction so we spent so much time directing them. The most epic failure was when we all died trying to help the girls who kept falling into the hole over and over again. It was a pretty funny moment.

Ahaha. That is really fun and I bet they are already trashtalking you in chat but you just couldn't understand. I have a similar scenario regarding that event like yours. It's from a game called World of Warcraft and this still happens though up until now. Same thing, aggroing other mobs that could lead to raid wipe. And I'm not talking about small groups here. I am talking about 40-man raid group and all are in discord. Hahaha.

A lot of stupid deaths in The Binding of Isaac. For those who don't know it, is a dungeon crawler/roguelike/twinstick shooter pretty hard, with lot of random enemies, items and levels in it - every run is different. And when you die, you start over (you can unlock more stuff the more you play anyway).
And I had a lot of stupid deaths in that game, often by being too greedy: like trying to get an item in a room that take away your hearts (won't go too much into details, it's more complex than that) and healing myself instantly... but accidentally bombing myself somehow, therefore dying. If you aren't familiar with the game it doesn't sound that epic, but trust me... it was an enormous epic fail.
