Do you think that people having too many games will cause problems for the industry?

On the PC, we are used to games consistently going on sale for ridiculously cheap prices, this has led to many people having more games on their steam account than they can ever get around to playing.

The problem with this over saturation of games is that the more games people have ready to play, the less likely they are to want to buy more games. When the next recession comes alone, people might decide to stop buying games and just play the ones they already own, this could lead to a lot of studios going out of business.

What do you guys think about this?

No. Quite on the opposite. More choices, means more competition, and therefore, gamers are more likely to buy more. This happened during the 90's, when there was an great influx of games across the board from PlayStation, to Nintendo, to PC gaming.

PC gaming has always had "so many games." It can only be good things for PC gamers. If a studio goes out of business, then that company wasn't doing a good job. For example a company by the name of Boss Key, led by Cliff Bleszinski, lead designer of Gears of War, closed down after the releases of LawBreakers, and Radical Heights. Cliff dug his own grave by his comments on twitter. Controversy is a good thing, but at the same time, when you say horrible things, it hurts the image of a company and the games you make.

Some people liked Radical Heights, but most thought it was a "cash-in" on the popularity of Battle Royale games such as PUBG, and Fortnite's Battle Royale.
