Announcement CarlosX360 Co., Ltd. has acquired DestroyRepeat!

Hello, my name is Carlos Morales. I'm the Founder and C.E.O. at CarlosX360 Co., Ltd. On December 10th, I paid $1,400 to @aNi to outright acquire (purchase) DestroyRepeat.com

It has been a year since @aNi or any one on the previous staff team has done anything to DestroyRepeat.com - the reason for this, is unknown to me. At that point, I was already negotiating, and trying to find the money to buy the site.

What happened?
I already explained this in another post. I'll expand on this, however. Since I acquired DestroyRepeat, I had two choices: Keep it as it was (which was the original plan), or merge both DestroyRepeat and PSVitaForum into a brand new database. I opted for the latter.

I took the opportunity to clean up a few things: The whole DestroyRepeat Staff has been removed. Their accounts remain, just that they aren't Staff or Moderators anymore. The only person that has stayed on Staff is @Ik0n88x. I've known him long before DestroyRepeat. I met him on a Call of Duty 4 Forum that was extremely popular at one point. So popular, it was acquired by an internet company for $24,000.

He was promoted to Moderator, and then Super Moderator. He did it again at two Black Ops websites, so yeah. I do.

I cleaned up the userfields and other small, minuscule options from the old site.

I don't know anyone from DestroyRepeat apart from a few folks and regulars. But I want to change that. I want to get everyone acquainted with each other.

Most of the old plugins from both PSVitaForum & DestroyRepeat is gone - explained here.

What about Tapatalk?
It's there. Just not on "PSVitaForum," tho. It's on "Destroy Repeat." So, you'll have to re-follow the site if you want to continue to see the site. I'll fix the "PSVitaForum" Tapatalk site to work with my Carlos 360 blog. I will use that as a way to communicate with you all about quality gaming news, info, and speculation.

What? No new skin?
It's coming. Just be patient. I'm working on it.

What will happen to PSVitaForum.com?
It's already redirecting to DestroyRepeat.com and the posts are here. Everything is intact. The only thing the site is losing for the moment is Chat, Media, and Streams. I am working with @aNi to get Media, and Streams on DestroyRepeat. I'll be working with @Chris to get Chat under DestroyRepeat.

Glad to see the site rise from the ashes like a phoenix, slightly disappointed that as one of the only moderators still chatting and conversing with members after the site lost a lot of its core members, that i lost my moderator status and that i'm unable to use my old account.

That being said, im glad to see the old girl back, had some good times here and i for one still talk and game with a lot of the members i met here on XB1

I am sorry about that. I've merged your accounts, and modified your account to use the new e-mail address. And as a token of my apology, I've reinstated your moderator position.

I am reminded of something: Some of you moderators had the [username]@destroyrepeat.com on the actual account. So, if you can't use your old account, simply log in using the same IP address as your old account... and I will know it's you.

And we haven't lost those members, I still have their accounts. It will take a simple e-mail. Nothing more, nothing less. I am just doing things slowly. A few days ago, the overall PSVitaForum.com site had a huge, huge, and I mean HUGE traffic spike.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask it but I do have some questions..

1). Are we sticking with the 'Destroy Repeat' name and everything merging into here?
2). Are we sticking with the same color scheme / logo?
3). Is this basically going to be an all around general gaming site?

1. Yes. And Yes. 2. Currently the skin you see today is what we're working with. I'm going to speak with Audentio, the leading skin developer to try and replicate the old Blue/Purple design of the old site. Or something better. We still have the Archive.org HTML, so it should be relatively easy to get them to understand what we want. 3. Yes. More info here.

In fact, I am currently working on a Battlefield [5] website and once I've amassed enough posts from post-launch, post-DLC content, I will merge that bitch here.
