You like that PS Vita you own so much, but there are that few things that annoys you. For you what are those?

-Uncustomizable UI, themes etc.
-missing out L2 R2 buttons, buttons that could replicate a Dualshock/Sixaxis
-a bit bigger buttons.
-DLC's / region lockings.
-battery life.

Aside from that everything has been keeping me happy in gaming. Having no problems with the current offerings (games/performance)

100-Bubble limit/No Folders
No DLNA Support
Hard to change accounts/no settings saved to memory cards.
Memory Card Prices.

That's all.

Very unstable internet connections from time to time. (kills the fun of games like LittleBigPlanet or so)
The splitting up of EU and US things.
The strict splitting of the regions.
The insanely overpriced SD Cards.
The small buttons.
The extremely unpractical data manager.
The low-ass cameras
The weak-ass browser - since I can't watch any animes on my vita-browser, the browser failed my first test.
The very undeveloped UI which isn't even capable of creating folders and choosing HQ-wallpapers.
The lack of start-screen widgets.
The lack of basic apps for a 3G-device like whats app and other instant messengers

That should be enough for the first run...

A major problem I have is with region locking. Sure, games are technically region free, but the DLC is not, and the stores are not. This is a huge problem for people who have to import games, since all first-party titles have online passes now, and I feel the inability to download software (esp free software) from other regions is absurd.

I love having dual analog sticks, but I wish they were a little more substantial. I don't miss the L/R3 buttons, but I feel the deadzone problem is amplified with such a small range of motion.

I don't like the back touchpad at all. It is poorly used in every title I've played, and I have to use a grip just to hold my Vita without accidentally touching the pad and triggering unwanted commands.

Well, in all honesty, I wanted a portable GAMING system, and I got one in the vita. I don't want to be THAT guy, but if I wanted a better camera, browser, widgets, folders, etc, I'd go for a tablet.
We all have our gripes and complaints, but sometimes you have to be realistic.

The handheld itself

- The fact it has that rear touch pad which gets in the way in every game which doesn't allow it to be disabled.

- Small complaint but, the design of the system. I have to buy a case, screen protectors, a back protector, etc just so this thing doesn't get damaged. My phone, a screen protector and a cheap rubber case. My 3DS, I just close the lid. My ipad, a screen protector.

As a whole

- lack of 3rd party exclusives
-lack of marketing from Sony
- lack of games exclusive to Vita
- Over priced and undersized memory card which dont allow the system to be truly portable. As said before, its not portable if I have to lug games around rather than download them.

Just give me some UNIQUE GAMES to play and the Vita would go from a four to a ten in my books. Everything else is superficial. I'm a gamer, show me some games designed for Vita, not ported to Vita.

Memory card prices. Its what really cripples the sales of the system. Its just ridiculous on the prices and 4gb and 8gb is practically useless in today standard mobile size. 32gb is holding up fine for me, but it won't be in the long run. They seriously need to get a big size in the early run so we don't have to worry about its not enough in the long run, that goes for all.

Another thing which is a minor thing that should not be in the first place they should automatically receive messages instead of refreshing every 15 min, 30min, etc. Its a hassle if you are sending messages if you don't feel like talking just to refresh every minute or two.

I have no complaints of the battery life surprisingly since its about the same as the 3DS (Even though i complained so much on the 3DS, but the Nyko battery pack solved it) since the Vita has way more power under the hood so its understandable. Since the portable battery from Sony solves that problem. Only thing that i didn't like which is another minor thing is there is no battery status menu in the settings like the PSP had. It was cool to know how long it will last despite its not always accurate.

its missing apps big time,,,little things like volume+ or different browser apps ,,also a button & analog stick sensitivity and layout app would be a valuable asset to the vita,,i cant believe they dont have one for that already,,,,,

The memory cards certainly are too expensive. I haven't really drained my vita's battery life yet, seems to run all day for me. I only put in about an hour to 2 hours worth of game play a day so far.
As for the amount of games, I guess being late in actually getting the vita (been a little over a year since it's release) has left me with enough games to catch up with. Hopefully giving Sony enough time to get its act together.

Yeah, 2nd LR buttons would be nice, but neigh on impossible to add without making the console so big that it no longer counts as a handheld.

-a bit bigger buttons.

I'm with you on this also. Some games I start to find my fingers hurting a bit from holding down the buttons for a while.

-battery life.

I own the external battery pack, which does away with that problem. Highly recommended. I did a review for it here if you're interested in learning a bit more.

I would like the add the placing of the speakers as my main gripe. My fingers keep covering up the speakers depending on how I'm holding the console.

Also, I wish that the LR buttons were a felt a little less flimsy. Perhaps a bit thicker.

I'm spending most of my time and money on PSone and PSP titles, so I'd like to see more older titles added to the PS store. I cannot fathom why sequels to certain games have been omitted. Cool Boarders 3, Wipeout 2097, Destruction Derby 2, Medievil 2 to name a few. It's nonsensical!

Certain PSP titles I want are the Ghost in the Shell SAC game and the Coded Arms franchise.

For Vita games, I would pay so much for a fast-paced 3rd person action game i.e. Max Payne 3. The closest we have is Unit 13, but it's just feels too clunky, seeing as it goes for that duck and cover mularky.

1. Memory card price.

It's a scandal to be honest, the device should have came with a 32GB SSD with the option to buy a card if more needed in my opinion.

2. No hardware WiFi hardware switch.

Ok, this is knit picking but it would have been nice. It's a portable device and often not near a WiFi hotspot so switching off WiFi to save battery should be easier. :)

3. The lack of a Netflix app in the UK.

It's difficult to imagine what possible reason there can be for this. :-(
