Banner Competition

Okay, so. Upon Speedy's suggestion, we're gonna try out a banner competition - i.e., installing rotating banners onto the boards. The only criteria are that they must be 750 x 90 pixels, and have "Game Over Online" on them somewhere, and at least attempt to have something to do with video games on them. Then, on 1st January, we'll create a poll, which will close after a week. The top scoring ones will appear at the top of the screen, randomised.

So get a move on. =P

Perhaps this is a chance to use my photoshopping skills for once...

Does it have to be UBER-fancy? Because not everyone can do it like I've seen so many previous others...

It just has to consist of more than a collection of 8-bit sprites and the words "Gaem Ovar Onlien!", pretty much.

I think you should sort banners by skin, to tell the truth.

Actually, the banner has to be 777x90. The current one is less because it has a BG.

Great idea, btw. This will surely up our disk space usage!

*cough I had this idea when the boards first started but I never put it into action*

Might as well make the first entry. This is related to the SNES-game Earthbound, for those who live in a cave :)

A combination of an old trial version of Photoshop, MS Paint, and PhotoImpression (a program that came with my digital camera)

Here's one I just now made using the same trio of image programs:
